Removed some clutter from the blog and made some changes to the layout. It's probably better this way.

When I was in my seventh grade year, I would come home from school being excited to get on my sister's 3DS for the sole purpose of playing Animal Crossing New Leaf (it was my cartridge). I also had my own 3DS at the time, but before there were some beneficial adjustments made to my 3DS, I've added some friends through this game through my sister's 3DS.

I remember creating PRO-designs of mainly dresses because they always turned out to look very pretty at the end. I was still drawing at the time, and although I can't say my style wasn't that great in general, I will admit that I am surprised of how amazing the PRO-designs turned out to be.

An area in New Leaf called Tortimer Island was the place where I made most of my 3DS friends. We would always exchange 3DS friend codes with each other because how else were we going to play online with each other the next time we play together?

This was also the time when my admiration for the Sanrio series continue to grow, but like, significantly (before it went way mainstream). There were clothes and furniture from these exclusive Sanrio amiibo cards, and these clothes and furniture were popular back in the day (pre-New Horizons) because of course, they were cute and difficult to obtain. This game made me like the Sanrio series like a lottt, and I gotta admit, I'm surprised Sanrio got really mainstream about a year or so later. It's impressive :O

But I digress.

Kay, Kanna from Japan (this is one of the only players whose New Leaf's town name that I remember), Nate, and I were a whole friend group together in this game, always visiting each other's towns and spending time with each other :) They even loved my PRO-designs too, so of course I was proud of that. Another thing that I remember was the :] emoticon, which was the emoticon that absolutely loved using. I wasn't too sure about Nate, though, but I'm pretty sure it was always me, Kanna, and Kay. These few months of playing Animal Crossing New Leaf with them were some of the best months ever. I don't remember when exactly I stopped actively playing this game, but I wish I hadn't. When I found my sister's 3DS about a year or so ago, I looked through my friends list only to find out that they probably don't seem to be active anymore. Whatever they're doing out there, I hope they're doing well :D

Kay, Kanna, and Nate, if you're reading this, my name from this game was Quinn and I named my town Treetown. Hopefully this'll seem familiar to you guys! If you guys want to play Animal Crossing New Horizons with me and relive these memories, my friend code is at the bottom :)
